  Wuzhou Medical College is a full-time ordinary higher vocational college approved by the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and the Ministry of Education, and is the first private medical higher vocational college in eastern Guangxi. The college is located in Wuzhou, a historic and cultural city with a thousand-year history, adjacent to Canghai Lake to the east, Xijiang Airport to the west, and the High-speed Railway South Station to the north, overlooking the Xijiang River, with a beautiful environment and convenient transportation.  The college is committed to cultivating outstanding health professionals for the construction of a magnificent Guangxi, offering 20 majors including Traditional Chinese Medicine, Nursing, and Pharmacy. It has formed an advantageous medical professional group with pharmaceutical disciplines as the core and health care, nursing, and medical laboratory technology as specialties, and has delivered more than 10,000 high-quality skilled medical and health talents who are "willing to go, capable of working well, and able to stay" to the regional health industry.  The college campus covers an area of 1,165 mu, with a building area of 404,000 square meters and total teaching and research equipment worth 75 million yuan. It has a strong faculty of 969 full-time teachers, among whom "dual-qualified" teachers account for 39.5%, teachers with senior professional titles account for 35.1%, and teachers with master's or doctoral degrees account for 25.1%, forming a composite teaching team of "professors leading + industry experts collaborating." It has advanced experimental and training centers such as the Traditional Chinese Medicine Herbarium, the Human Life Science Museum, and the Nursing Training Center, as well as 8 affiliated hospitals including Wuzhou Red Cross Hospital and the Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, 115 teaching and internship bases, and 68 school-enterprise cooperation units. At present, there are nearly 18,000 students. The pass rates of students in the Nurse Practicing Qualification Examination, Computer Level Examination, and National English Level Examination all rank among the top of similar colleges in the region, and the employment rate of graduates exceeds 95%, making them highly welcomed by employers.  Since its establishment, the college has won honors such as "Guangxi 5A Social Organization," "Outstanding Unit for Contributing to Employment Retention in Guangxi," "Guangxi Green School," and "Wuzhou Five-Star Party Organization," and serves as the vice-chairman unit of the Guangxi Health Care Industry Industry-Education Integration Community and the vice-chairman unit of the Guangxi Medical Industry Industry-Education Integration Community.
