Qingyuan Guangshuo Footwear Co., Ltd. is a large Sino-foreign joint venture light industrial footwear manufacturing enterprise, specializing in the production of internationally renowned brand NIKE sports shoes, with an annual production capacity of 15 million pairs, an annual output value of 1.5 billion RMB, and about 16,000 employees. It is one of NIKE's top five global strategic partners and has won the first prize in export earnings, output value, and tax payment in Qingxin County for three consecutive years, is an A-class taxpayer enterprise in Qingyuan City, and one of the top ten outstanding enterprises in Qingyuan City.
The company's predecessor was Guangzhou Guangrong Footwear Co., Ltd., established in 1987, and was NIKE's first contracted factory in mainland China. In order to seek greater development, in December 2001, it invested 50 million USD in Qingyuan to register and establish Qingyuan Guangshuo Footwear Co., Ltd. In 2007, Guangyou Footwear Co., Ltd. was established in Nanchang, Jiangxi. In 2008, Guangxuan Footwear Upper Factory was established in Pingxiang, Jiangxi. In 2009, Jintan Footwear Upper Factory was established in Qingxin County. In 2010, a new factory was established in Yangshan, Qingyuan. In 2010, a branch factory was established in Qiyang, Hunan.
