The hospital operates under an integrated model of medicine, education, and research, and is committed to building a modern, international, and professional brain hospital. The hospital has a building area of 42,000 square meters, with 500 approved beds, and includes 20 clinical departments: neurosurgery, neurology, functional neurosurgery, cerebrovascular disease, neurocritical care, pediatric neurosurgery, respiratory medicine, gastroenterology, interventional diagnosis and treatment, oncology, radiation therapy, traditional Chinese medicine, rehabilitation medicine, orthopedics, psychiatry, pain management, etc., as well as 10 medical technology departments: medical imaging, EEG monitoring, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, ultrasound, and medical laboratory. The hospital is equipped with large advanced devices such as Philips 128-slice CT, 3.0T MRI, dual-C large flat-panel DSA, linear accelerator, head gamma knife, hyperbaric oxygen chamber group, fully digital Hybrid-OR composite operating room, American Nihon Kohden video EEG monitoring system, Zeiss microscope (dual fluorescence), and Drager anesthesia machine, building a precise and reliable diagnosis and treatment system for clinical use. There are nearly 700 health technicians, including more than 100 with senior professional titles, 15 provincial or ministerial-level and above chairpersons or vice chairpersons, and over 80 with master's or doctoral degrees. The hospital follows the "323 Discipline Construction Plan" (3 key disciplines: cerebrovascular disease, neurology, and neurosurgery; 2 advantageous disciplines: neurocritical care and neurorehabilitation; 3 specialty disciplines: medical imaging, oncology, and nursing) as its development direction. Currently, the median DNT for stroke treatment is 42 minutes, with the fastest at 21 minutes; the median DPT is 94 minutes, with the fastest at 58 minutes, both reaching advanced domestic levels. The "Stroke Emergency Green Channel" project has been selected as one of Shanghai's first batch of "Innovative Medical Service Brands," and the "Ancient Method for Stroke Treatment" has been included in Minhang District's intangible cultural heritage projects.
