Company Profile: Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group Beijing Haiyan Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. was established in February 2004. It is a wholly-owned R&D and production subsidiary of Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group in the north. Located in Zhongguancun Life Science Park, Changping District, Beijing, the company covers an area of 64,978.96 square meters with a building area of 38,258 square meters. It is recognized as a High-tech Enterprise by the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission and a High-tech Achievement Transformation Base by the Beijing Municipal Development and Reform Commission. Beijing Haiyan Pharmaceutical is a comprehensive enterprise integrating drug R&D, production, and product promotion, featuring a laboratory area of over 3,000 square meters equipped with complete experimental instruments and equipment. It has passed the GMP certification of the National Medical Products Administration for large and small volume injections, lyophilized powder injections, and oral solid preparations. Currently, the marketed products mainly include Suhuang Zhike Capsules, Kesu, and Monika, among which Suhuang Zhike Capsules are the first pure traditional Chinese medicine preparation approved nationwide for treating post-cold cough and cough variant asthma. The research project on paclitaxel polyglutamate conjugate candidate drugs has received support from the Ministry of Science and Technology's Major New Drug Creation Special Fund; the development of the lipid-lowering new drug niacin lovastatin bilayer sustained-release tablets has received support from the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission's High-Growth Special Fund; the research and development of generic drugs such as nifedipine have received funding from the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission's "Major Generic Drug R&D" fund; the third-class new drug rizatriptan benzoate tablets have been recognized by the Development and Reform Commission as a major scientific and technological achievement transformation project, enjoying tax exemption preferential policies; and the Phase IV clinical trial and production expansion project of Suhuang Zhike Capsules have received support from the national major special fund. Profile of Beijing Haiyan Pharmaceutical Company Beijing Haiyan Pharmaceutical Company in Beijing Life Science Park is a wholly owned subsidiary of Yangzi river Pharmaceutical Group which invested near 0.3 billion RMB. It occupies 65 thousmeter square. It is involved in drug research development, drug producing, selling registration. Now there is around 300 staff. The company was award of high technology company by Beijing science committee. In 2015, the sales target of the company is 2.5 billion RMB. The company’s R&D department consists of biological, chemical, Chinese medicine parts. Presently the company has 60 staff in R&D, 31projects, which will be marketed in the next seven years. Especially, the biomedicines products are selling from 2016. Now the company has already achieved six new products clinical program approved by SFDA.
