2006年2月成立了江苏省首社区型专业合作社戴庄有机农业专业合作社。 有机越光水稻、有机水蜜桃、茶叶、牧草、畜禽、蔬菜、草莓、山芋等有机农业项目生产的农户已占到全村总户数的80%，截止到2015年有机水稻面积发展到3000亩，绿肥牧草发展到3000亩，有机果树展到1000亩，有机蔬菜发展到200亩，有机油料100亩，放牧鸡、鹅发展到1.5万羽，山羊500头。同时加快向生产、加工、销售流通及农业观光旅游一体化的方向发展。
