Chongqing Changdian Yu Power Engineering Co., Ltd. was established in June 2020. Its predecessor was a wholly-owned subsidiary of Changdian United. After China Yangtze Power took control of Chongqing Three Gorges Water Conservancy, the company became a second-tier subsidiary of Three Gorges Water Conservancy. Its current main business is to undertake hydropower equipment overhaul and maintenance, unit A/B overhaul, construction agency management, equipment inspection, equipment defect handling, etc. for the Three Gorges Power Station, Gezhouba Power Station, Xiangjiaba Power Station, Xiluodu Power Station, Wudongde Power Station, Baihetan Power Station and the Changdian Maintenance Plant under China Yangtze Power. The company's headquarters is located in Lifan Center, Jiangbeizui, Jiangbei District, Chongqing, and it has project departments in Three Gorges, Gezhouba, Xiangjiaba, Xiluodu, Wudongde and Baihetan.
