陆丰市城东镇水墘中学坐落于陆丰市城东镇水墘新寨村324国道旁，是水墘村各界乡贤捐资所建，于2000年建立完工，并于同年9月份开始招生入学，至今办学已将近21年。办学以来，得到上级领导及水墘各界乡贤的大力支持，现有教学班12个，各个教室及多媒体功能室配备齐全。有标准足球场、篮球场和跑道等，绿化充足，环境优美。
