临沧市勘察设计院成立于1992年，隶属于临沧市建设局，是自收自支的独立法人事业单位，是专门从事建筑设计、工程建设监理、规划设计及测绘，具备丙级设计资质、丙级规划资质及丙级测绘资质、丙级监理资质。目前拥有员工50余人，具有高级技术专业职称5人，中级技术专业职称26人，初级技术专业职称22人。一级注册结构师1人，二级注册建筑师2人，二级注册结构师1人，注册城市规划师1人。设计院内设有办公室、总工办、建筑设计所、规划设计所、正懿监理公司、财务室等职能部门。
