Beijing CAS Software Center Co., Ltd.

Beijing CAS Software Center Co., Ltd. was formerly the Beijing Software Engineering Development Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, established in September 1986. It was a software industry development base prepared by the former State Science and Technology Commission, with the support of the former State Planning Commission, and founded on the basis of 100 graduate students majoring in computer software engineering jointly trained by Peking University and the United States. In 1996, the Software Center implemented enterprise-based management, established Beijing Case Software Group, and became a backbone enterprise among the first batch of "National Torch Program Beijing Software Industry Base" recognized by the Torch Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology. In September 2001, it was officially restructured as an enterprise directly under the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
The company currently has more than 500 employees, and the average age of software developers is 25. It is the youngest science and technology "national team" within the Chinese Academy of Sciences. It has won multiple Science and Technology Progress Awards and Major Achievement Awards at the academy and ministry levels, with deep technical reserves.
