许昌建投中能热力有限公司成立于2022年4月，属于许昌市城投发展集团有限公司控股子公司，注册资本为5000万元人民币，是许昌市中心城区“汽改水”项目实施主体。主要负责许昌市中心城区“汽改水”区域集中供热市政主管网、小区换热站、二级管网、楼内立管的建设任务以及辖区内公建单位、居民高温水供热。 2022年6月开始的中心城区“汽改水”项目，新建一级热水管网总长度83.08KM，管径DN1400--DN80。改造及新建热力站218座，改造二级热水管网热用户约197个，改造采暖立管热用户约158个，改造范围内共需改造热用户约304个，改造入网采暖建筑面积约1159.83万平方米。该项目当年决策、当年实施、当年建成投运，这在国内城市集中供暖工程中是极其罕见的，是许昌市城市基础设施建设运营史上有历史意义的标志性工程。
