冠县是以盛产鸭梨而闻名大江南北，素有鸭梨之乡的美称。冠县栽培梨树已有1000多年的历史。据史志记载，“梨类极多，其*甘美者为俗称之鸭梨”。本县兰沃乡韩路村清康熙*年（1669）王氏载植的一棵梨树，目前在全国树龄*长、年单株产量*多，人称“鸭梨树王”。冠县鸭梨在国内外久负盛名，1988年被评为国家优质果品奖，1990年被评为山东省优质梨，1987年4月，冠县第十届人民代表大会作出决议，将鸭梨定为县果。
