太原赛因新材料科技有限公司是由山西大学化学化工学院吕海港教授组成的科研团队创建，主要从事煤炭制备高品质石墨烯和高端碳材料的研究、开发和产业化。公司开发的自动化快速焦耳热工艺，把炭黑、无烟煤、竹炭粉等含碳原料，通入大电流产生3000℃高温，反应不到1分钟，碳粉变为石墨烯、硬炭等高端碳材料。本工艺只用电，不用水，低成本，无污染，非常适合山西省的资源结构，处于*水平。目前已有美国和沙特洽谈采购石墨烯生产线。生产的石墨烯只需沥青中添加0.1%，就可延长沥青道路1倍的使用寿命。2023年11月获批国家高新技术企业。
