Jiangsu Lihua Animal Husbandry Co., Ltd. was established in June 1997. It is a national leading enterprise in agricultural industrialization and a national agricultural standardization demonstration zone, covering poultry breeding, incubation, ecological farming, feed processing, meat food processing, and poultry disease technology research. The company currently has nearly 8,000 employees, including over 10 PhDs, more than 160 master's degree holders, over 40 personnel with intermediate or senior professional titles, and over 100 scientific researchers engaged in long-term research and development.
In 2022, the company listed approximately 407 million high-quality broilers, 564,400 pigs, and 1,424,300 commercial geese, with sales revenue of 14.447 billion yuan, creating over 1.3 billion yuan in income for cooperative farmers. The company has established partnerships with multiple research institutes and universities. In 2004, it co-built the Jiangsu Provincial High-quality Poultry Engineering Technology Research Center; in 2007, it established the Lihua Poultry Research Institute of Jiangsu Academy of Agricultural Sciences; in 2012, it was awarded the Jiangsu Postdoctoral Innovation Practice Base; and in 2020, it established the Jiangsu Academy of Agricultural Sciences-Lihua Agricultural Industry Research Institute. On February 18, 2019, the company was officially listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, with the stock abbreviation "Lihua Co., Ltd." and stock code "300761", becoming the listed poultry and livestock breeding enterprise in Jiangsu Province and the listed agricultural enterprise in Changzhou City.
