仙庄乡尖椒大市场位于河南省的东北部，2004年全县尖椒种植面积23.4万亩，涉及全县18个乡（镇），471个行政村，6.2万农户。其中种植面积超5万亩的乡1个，超3万亩的乡2个，超万亩的乡4个。真正形成了千亩成方，万亩连片的规模种植优势，成为豫北地区*大的尖椒生产基地。其中仙庄乡申报的5万亩无公害尖椒种植基地已获得省质监局认可，成为全省*个也是目前*获得无公害认证的尖椒生产基地。尖椒种植主要品种有益都红、子弹头、新一代、韩国世农朝天椒等品种，亩产一般为600-800斤（*高可达1000斤），预计总产可达到2亿吨。
