Responsible fnew product sourcing project management of components
sub-assemblies. Requires a blend of technical business expertise as well
as solid interpersonal negotiation skills to contribute, lead manage at
different levels, both internally externally. Engage with Business Units,
Program Managers, Engineering, Quality to ensure customer requirements are
being met while communicating driving sourcing strategy that reduces risk,
improves cost, shorten lead-time, improve supplier relationships.



Responsibilities:

Leads new product sourcing activities interface with Business Units
Suppliers, ensuring on-time delivery, on-cost, on-quality.

Leads supplier selection new product costs from development to mass
production. Execute sourcing strategies by leveraging the preferred suppliers.
Manages the overall product level BOM cost.

Drives the early supplier involvement fnew products solutions to
technical business challenges.

Ensures capacity readiness to meet production forecast capacity.

Identifies new product risks. Leads problem solving to resolve issues.

Works closely with Global Sourcing to ensure alignment to the commodity
specific strategy drive business needs



Qualifications:

Bacheldegree in Engineering, 6-10 yrs related exp. are highly preferred.

Demonstrates experience in commodity management new product development
(NPD) in Mechanical components, such as plastic injection, metal stamping,
machining, rubber molding, etc..

Technical understanding of raw materials mechanical components, including
design fmanufacturing, product costing, production processes/operations,
market trends.

Knowledge in new product / component sourcing project management,
establishing strong relationships with internal external partners
