本合作社2007年12月成立.地处云贵高原乌蒙山脉中段乌江源头,拥有2000亩经过改整的野生山油茶林(威宁特有的短柱油茶).合作社基地平均海拔2300--2500米,太阳日照时间长,霜期短,土壤以山地红壤为主,有机质含量在2%以上,相对湿度较大.合作社周边保留有大片的原生态灌木林,并以山油茶树为主.由于地处高寒,植物生长周期长,故大量产有未经农业施作的绿色天然环保高质量的野生山油茶籽,是提取精制茶油及附属产品的*佳原料.
