新华山基地位于江西省樟树市吴城乡，已开面积600亩。主营国家林业局“948”引进项目中的美国黑樱桃、美国黑核桃两个品种的种质试验林（*期200亩），进行采种、采条扩繁育苗。这一部分获得国家外国专家局外聘美国专家指导。同时利用充足的土地资源（1）培育绿化大苗，品种有：竹柏、深山含笑、火力楠、马褂木、池杉、樟树、南酸枣等，均有叁年以上。（2）种植药材并选择优株，建立株系，培育优质种苗。品种有：黄栀子、吴茱萸、金银花（驯化目标为优质高产的木本化）、厚朴。
