DPM was incubated at the Institute of Automation and has been selected as a specialized, refined, distinctive and innovative "Little Giant" enterprise. Its preliminary research has received support from national projects including the National 973 Program, two Major Research Instrument Special Projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the Nanotechnology Special Project of the Ministry of Science and Technology. It has also won numerous domestic and international honors, including two Second Prizes of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, two Second Prizes of the National Technological Invention Award, the National Excellence Award, the Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation Science and Technology Progress Award, the Best Invention Award of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), the China Patent Excellence Award, and the Gold Medal at the 43rd International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva. As an enterprise focused on the high-end medical technology field, DPM's main business covers the independent research, development and production of multiple series of high-end intraoperative optical molecular imaging surgical navigation equipment, optical molecular imaging contrast agents, and magnetic nanoparticle imaging examination equipment. Its developed "Near-infrared Fluorescence Imaging Intraoperative Navigation System" received special approval for innovative medical devices from the National Medical Products Administration and was included in the Ministry of Science and Technology's key special project on "Digital Diagnostic and Therapeutic Equipment Research and Development"; the "Intelligent Auxiliary Decision-making Diagnosis and Treatment System for Tumors Based on Preoperative and Intraoperative Images" received support from the National Development and Reform Commission's "Biotechnology and Information Technology Integration Application Engineering Support Project (155 million yuan)"; and the "Wide-spectrum Super-resolution Intelligent Endoscopic Molecular Imaging System" ranked first among the listed units in the intelligent auxiliary treatment product category of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's "Artificial Intelligence Medical Device Innovation Task" (and was the winning unit in the project completion acceptance).
