察布查尔县金威铅锌矿业有限公司成立于2000年，注册资金550万，现有固定资产1200万，经营方式：铅、锌、铜、银加工、开发、销售。公司所属金威铅锌矿及选矿厂两部门，共有员工六十余人，目前公司运营状况良好。采矿权设立以来，矿业公司先后投入壹仟余万元，进行采选项目基本建设，2006年9月建成年处理三万吨原矿石的铅锌选矿厂，年产值达4000余万元。作为有色金属综合开发的金威矿业已成为察布查尔县有色金属开发龙头企业。
