本园成立于2007年7月，座落于韩城市薛峰镇共裕村，位于风景秀丽的凤凰山下，洰水之傍，比邻薛峰水库。总投资300万元，占地面积共100余亩 (其中饲养场30亩，栏舍20个；饲料供应基地50亩；员工宿舍、孵化基地和消毒室等占地20亩)。本园如今已拥有鸸鹋，防爆犬，孔雀等珍禽珍兽，主要经营鸸鹋产品及其附加制品。拥有饲养员6名，兽医1名，全国技术指导员3名。本园已经拥有野生动物及保护动物驯养繁殖许可证，同时作为农业养殖项目，受到政府的保护和鼓励。
