该场从1999年开始引进芬兰二代、叁代公狐进行本交改良。2003年建成锡林郭勒盟*家北极狐人工受精改良站。全部引进芬兰纯种公（母）狐。2004-2007连续四年又引进芬兰原种公（纯种母狐）狐进行改良。至此，经过几年的人工繁育，该场的仔狐全部为正宗的纯种芬兰狐。
