青岛平度马家沟及周边村庄因气候、水质和土壤的独特条件，出产的芹菜在周边县市小有名气.为真正把马家沟芹菜培育成市场的“宠儿”，我基地在芹菜种植管理上也非常注重科技投入：增施有机肥和生物肥料，喷施生物菌肥、牛奶等，提高芹菜的品质和抗病能力；采用紫外线杀虫灯和粘虫板技术杀虫……凭着多年种植芹菜的经验，加上掌握的无公害芹菜等种植技术，我基地培育出了一种综合对比优势明显的芹菜品种，生产的芹菜呈现鲜明的特点：叶绿茎黄、空心无筋、鲜嫩酥脆，而且产量高，亩产可达6000公斤-7000公斤。
