什邡特产的生板鸭、熟板鸭（俗称烧腊鸭子），系腌卤食品中的精品，历史悠久，是与叶烟齐名的什邡特产。
板鸭系以其在晾晒和腌卤过程中，均采用竹骨绷撑，成品成板状而得名。
生板鸭有叁类：即去骨鸭饼、桶鸭、板鸭。成品可保存叁至五月。近年来采取真空密封包装，保存期更可延长，便利运销。吃法以清蒸为宜。下放蔬菜，不失本味。煮食亦可。
云西廖记板鸭具有皮色金黄、肉色红润、皮薄肉嫩、肥而不腻、味香可口，而且“骨脆可嚼”，食后满嘴余香。现常年出售生板鸭、熟板鸭。德阳地区餐厅可送货上门。
