本企业位于内蒙古自治区东部科尔沁草原，是通辽市所属重镇。位于通辽市南端（80公里）与辽宁省接壤，304国道（公路）与大郑线（铁路）并行贯穿全境，和多条正在建设的高速公路所环抱，交通发达。多民族杂居，人杰地灵。境内有国家极自然保护区大青沟，全旗境内无污染工业。本厂是生产型食品企业，生产内蒙特产炒米：“炒米”等系列产品。炒米的原料是境内所产糜子，是一种低产量，抗风沙，无病虫害的地方传统农作物。因此农民在种植时，不施肥不打药，其生长过程近似野生，属有机农作物。
