Beijing Concord College of Sino-Canada

Founded in 1997, Beijing Concord College of Sino-Canada is a new type of school implementing Sino-foreign cooperative general high school education. It is located in Conglin Manor, Tongzhou District, Beijing, covering an area of 110 mu. The Chinese partner is the Experimental High School Affiliated to Beijing Normal University, and the foreign partners are the Department of Education of New Brunswick, Canada, and the Canadian International Education Group (CIEG). Since its establishment, nearly 10,000 students have graduated, with over 98% of graduates pursuing further education at domestic and international universities, and 83% receiving scholarships from foreign universities. In 1997, the school was officially admitted as a member school of the Beijing Club Association of UNESCO. In 2003, the Ministry of Education designated the school as the first national contact school for the new high school curriculum reform, pioneering the implementation of the new curriculum standards in China. In 2004, it became one of the first Sino-foreign cooperative education institutions in Beijing to pass the re-inspection and acceptance by the Ministry of Education.
