Guangxi LiuGong Machinery Co., Ltd. (listed company code: 000528 LiuGong) was founded in 1958, formerly known as "Liuzhou Construction Machinery Plant" created by the partial relocation of Shanghai East China Steel and Construction Plant to Liuzhou. It was listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 1993, becoming the first listed company in China's construction machinery industry and Guangxi. The company is headquartered in Liuzhou, Guangxi, a famous historical and cultural city, with over 8,000 employees. In 2016, it achieved sales revenue of over 7 billion yuan, with overseas sales accounting for more than 30%. For nearly 60 years, LiuGong has been leading China's heavy construction machinery manufacturing industry and has been praised by party and state leaders as a "model flag of China's equipment manufacturing industry."
