广州发展南沙产业区专职消防队主要任务是负责产业区内各相关单位的消防设施巡检、防火监督、灭火、抢险救援任务及产业区消防监控指挥中心的日常运作。消防队占地5985㎡，建筑面积3654㎡，设有办公室、学习室、健身室、娱乐室、阅览室、备勤室、训练塔、篮球场等，达到一类消防队标准。消防队实行准军事化管理，按照广东省专职消防队正规化建设要求，建立健全了各项规章制度，规范学习、训练、工作、执勤和生活秩序。
