公司成立于1993年，1997年正式更名为山东兴鲁化工股份有限公司。2007年12月完成改制。主要产品有1,1-二氯乙烯、高纯盐酸、工业用合成盐酸、回收聚氯乙烯树脂、精制三氯乙烷、瓶装氯乙烯等。2020年成立控股子公司山东环保新材料有限公司，主要产品有：锈转化纳米乳液，偏二氯乙烯共聚食品乳液。是国内为数不多生产环保乳液的企业，公司就在齐鲁石化厂区内，在原料供应，产品销售及公用工程配套上有着得天独厚的优势，公司稳定发展，现在开展的氟化工项目和高阻隔性涂料项目都是国家“十三五“发展规划重点发展的项目。
