保定中兴电器有限公司建于1984年。占地面积23000m２；建筑面积11000多m２；固定资产投资35万元。拥有先进的生产设备和检测设备，是生产直流电源设备的专业厂。1986年通过电科院型式试验，并通过河北省省级鉴定。1991年在机电部、能源部组织的行业整顿中，获得生产配电屏的生产许可证。新研制生产的微机监控直流电源屏PZW4系列，1997年通过电力工业部电力设备及仪表质检中心检测试验，1999年通过省级鉴定。年产值3000多万元，产品销往北京供电局、华北地区电业局，受到用户好评。
