Tangshan Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as TISCO) is a backbone enterprise of Hebei Iron and Steel Group, founded in 1943. It is hailed as the 'homeland of China's basic oxygen side-blown converters.' After over 70 years of development, TISCO has become an ultra-large iron and steel enterprise, with 35,000 registered employees.
It has a supporting production capacity of 18 million tons per year, with main products including high-strength automotive sheets, cold/hot-rolled thin sheets, galvanized sheets, medium and heavy plates, and section steel, among 140 varieties. Over one-third of TISCO's cold-rolled products are exported worldwide. The high-strength automotive sheet project launched in early 2015 provides a foundation for TISCO to fundamentally achieve the transformation and upgrading of its product structure.
Since 2008, TISCO has comprehensively planned a green manufacturing model integrating clean production, energy conservation and emission reduction, and recycling, striving to build a 'green TISCO, ecological TISCO.'
