重庆市职业技能鉴定指导中心是重庆市劳动和社会保障局直属的正处级事业单位。主要职责是：负责组织全市职业技能鉴定工作的实施；负责职业技能鉴定考评员的培训、管理；指导全市各职业技能鉴定站的工作；开展职业技能鉴定有关问题的研究和咨询服务；推动全市职业技能竞赛活动。中心下设办公室、财务科、职业标准与题库开发科、考核认证科、质量督导与竞赛科等5个科室，并在涪陵、万州、永川设有3个分中心。
