公司始创于1993年，厂区建筑面积35000多平方米，是一家倡导服务，集科研、生产、销售于一体的国家重点扶持高新技术企业。二十多年来一直致力于大学物理实验教学仪器、科研仪器设备的研发生产和销售，形成了以8大系列400余种专业物理实验仪器设备为主，电工仪器为辅，配套设备为支撑的产业结构。2010年，公司研发中心被评为以“科教仪器为主要研究方向”的省级企业高新技术研发中心，2016年被杭州市委组织部授予“杭州市院士工作站”。2017年，被省委组织部认定为“省级院士工作站”。
