Beijing Guotou Highway Construction Development Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") is a limited liability company established in accordance with the provisions of the Company Law of the People's Republic of China and relevant laws and regulations, jointly invested by Tianjin Jietong Xing Highway Construction Development Co., Ltd. and Beijing Xiadu Xinda State-owned Assets Management Center. The enterprise is a construction and operation unit.
The Company is registered in the Economic and Technological Development Zone of Yanqing County, Beijing. According to the business license issued by the Beijing Administration for Industry and Commerce, the main business scope of the Company includes: investing in highway toll collection; maintenance and management of transportation infrastructure; warehousing services; leasing of mechanical equipment; automobile rescue; sales of building decoration materials and packaged food; design and production of advertisements; technology development and technology consulting.
The Company is a professional investment company dedicated to investment, construction, operation, and management in the highway and large-scale infrastructure fields. The Company strives to establish a modern enterprise system, implement a corporate governance structure, stimulate enterprise vitality, seek development through innovation, and strive to become a first-class highway investment enterprise.
On March 7, 2012, the Company obtained ISO three-system certification, marking a step towards more standardized management.
The Company currently has more than ten departments, including the General Manager's Office, Human Resources Department, Budget Department, Finance and Accounting Department, Contract Department, Toll Collection Department, Operations Management Department, Administrative Management Department, Engineering and Maintenance Department, Procurement Department, Security Department, and Phase II Project Department. The Company has nearly 280 employees.
The first phase of the Beijing section of the Jingxin Expressway has completed the plain section of a two-way road to the Hebei border, and the mountainous section has completed a single lane and is open to traffic. The second phase project is a half-width expressway in the mountainous area, with a total length of 35 kilometers. There are 9 tunnels, with the longest tunnel being 2,200 meters; 39 bridges, including one extra-large bridge of 1,870 meters, with the highest pier at 10 meters and the largest span being 125 meters of continuous steel structure. The BOT project of this project has a construction period of 3 years and an operation period of 25 years. The preliminary design of this project has been approved. Construction will start within 2012.
