East China University of Science and Technology

In 1997, East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST) was approved by the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council to launch an MBA education program, and enrolled its first batch of Master of Business Administration graduate students in 1998. Since its inception, this program has won awards such as the "MBA Achievement Award" and "MBA Innovation Award" for multiple consecutive years. In 2000, with the approval of the Ministry of Education and the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council, ECUST cooperated with the University of Canberra in Australia to launch an MBA education program, which began enrolling students that year. In 2001, ECUST collaborated with the University of Management and Technology (UMT) in the United States to cultivate graduate students in project management. In 2003, the university carried out MBA student exchange and dual-degree programs with the University of Hamburg in Germany. In 2004, the project management and logistics engineering fields of the Master of Engineering program were approved for enrollment, and in 2009, they obtained cooperative accreditation qualifications from IPMP and ILT. In 2005, the ECUST MBA program conducted large-scale international exchange initiatives. In 2007, the ECUST MBA program launched the IMBA program. In 2009, it launched a Sino-French dual-degree MBA program with ESCEM Business School in France. In the same year, our EMBA program was approved and has since enrolled three cohorts of students. In the "2010 (7th) China Market Most Leadership EMBA" selection, this program won the first place in the comprehensive ranking of newly established EMBA programs in China. Since its launch in 2008, the EDP program has held multiple open courses and corporate training sessions.

Since the inception of its professional degree education programs, ECUST has evolved from the educational philosophy of "Rooted in China, Global Vision" to today's 4P philosophy (Perspective, Persistence, Precise, Practice), and has launched various programs such as MBA, IMBA, EMBA, Sino-Australian MBA, Master of Engineering, and EDP. The complementarity and integration among these programs, the sharing and mutual promotion of faculty resources, and the extensive introduction of foreign faculty have greatly enhanced and promoted the strength of domestic professional degree education programs, making ECUST's professional degree brand increasingly prominent. After years of unremitting efforts, our School of Business has repeatedly won awards such as "The Most Competitive Business School in the Minds of Chinese MBA Students", "The Business School Most Favored by Enterprises", and "The Most Competitive Business School". The MBA Education Center of ECUST Business School has always been committed to cultivating middle and senior management talents with global vision and cross-cultural communication skills for the international business community, and ECUST's professional degree education programs have become one of the leading educational brands in Shanghai.
