精馏技术国家工程研究中心（National Engineering Research Center of Distillation Technology---NERCDT，简称精馏中心）是国家发改委批准并授牌的国家工程研究中心。精馏中心主要任务是开发新的精馏过程和设备，开发精馏过程控制和诊断技术，开发模拟与放大等技术；通过技术转移，改进现有的普通精馏过程和分馏装置，将新技术产业化，为解决我国精馏技术落后、能耗高、污染严重的问题服务。
精馏中心由研究中心、中试研究基地和产业化研究基地三部分组成。研究中心位于天津大学院内，中试研究基地位于天津经济技术开发区，占地面积15000平方米，建筑面积3000㎡，产业化研究基地位于天津临港经济区天津大学滨海工业研究院内，占地面积45000㎡，建筑面积15000㎡。目前拥有精馏技术中试仪器设备100余台套，新型精馏塔内件及填料生产线和大型液体喷淋试验检测装置。
精馏中心拥有一支在精馏理论与工程应用领域内知识与年龄结构合理的高水平人才梯队。包括中科院院士1人，研究生导师10人，教授8人，副教授及高级工程师13人，在读硕士研究生及博士研究生85人，已毕业硕士研究生及博士研究生230人，在站博士后4人，已出站博士后27人。获得国家科技进步二等奖1项，国家技术发明二等奖1项，省部级以上科研奖励23项；申请国际发明专利5项，申请国家发明专利214项，授权发明专利109项，申请国家实用新型专利50项，授权实用新型专利43项。
