绍兴上虞日本企业园选址于杭州湾上虞工业园区北部的东二区和东叁区。规划面积1500亩（约1平方公里），建设具备产业功能、城市功能、服务功能为一体的“国际一流”的日本企业园。计划投资50亿元，其中园区建设投入25亿元，入驻企业投入25亿元，10年内引进日资企业100家，积聚人员10000人。其中一期引进日资企业30家，实现年产值24亿元，缴纳税收1.6亿元以上。
