兴化市中医院创建于1957年。现为南京中医药大学教学医院，江苏省高校实习基地，二级甲等中医医院。 医院占地7600m2 建筑面积14232 m2。核准床位400张，实际开放床位373张。设有内科、外科、妇产科、儿科、急诊科、肿瘤科、针灸科、推拿科、康复科等14个临床一级科室。设有肛肠、肺病、脾胃病、肾病、男性病、糖尿病、血液病、风湿病、小儿哮喘等专科专病门诊。肛肠科、肺病科、针灸康复科、骨伤科、脑病科为泰州市级中医临床重点专科。肛肠科被列为省中医临床重点专科建设单位。拥有CT、核磁共振、彩超、全自动生化分析仪、DR、胃肠机、肿瘤综合治疗设备等万元以上医疗设备160台(套)。
