宁波大学医学院附属医院是一家集医疗、教学、科研及预防保健为一体的三级甲等综合医院、省文明医院、爱婴医院、平安医院、绿色医院、国际紧急救援中心网络医院、卫生部内镜专业技术培训基地、住院医师规范化培训基地、宁波市职业病医疗救治中心。单位性质为公益二类、经费预算形式为部分补助。医院现核定病床1100张，设有内、外、妇、儿、重症监护室等24个病区及手术麻醉科，开设60多个专家专科门诊。医院现有职工1519人，博士研究生及博士后25人，硕士研究生258人，高级职称361人，其中3人享受国务院特殊津贴。
