Beijing Kangxin Intellectual Property Agency Co., Ltd. was established in 1994. It is an institution capable of providing comprehensive intellectual property legal services, headquartered in Beijing, with branch offices in Tianjin, Qingdao, Xi'an, Wuhan, Hangzhou, Guangzhou, and Dongguan. Kangxin currently has over 500 employees, including experienced patent agents, trademark agents, and technical professionals. Kangxin's PCT ranking and agency volume have steadily increased year by year to the top position in China, and it has ranked among the top five PCT application firms globally for several consecutive years. Patent cases handled by Kangxin have won the China Patent Gold Award, Patent Excellence Award, and Design Excellence Award for multiple consecutive years. In addition, it has been rated as a "China Five-Star Patent Agency" by the China Intellectual Property News.
Kangxin continuously improves its service level through entity business process control, whole-process service tracking, and sustained improvement implementation. It is one of the earliest intellectual property legal service institutions in China to introduce the ISO9001 quality system and obtain audit certification. In April 2009, Kangxin officially passed the comprehensive audit of the ISO9001:2000 quality management system certification by the UK's National Quality Assurance Limited (NQA). In March 2010, Kangxin completed the conversion certification to the ISO9001:2008 version. In July 2016, 12 "enterprise standards" of Beijing Kangxin Intellectual Property Agency Co., Ltd. were filed and publicized on the "Enterprise Standard Information Public Service Platform" (***) of the "Standardization Administration of China". In March 2018, Kangxin completed the conversion certification to the ISO9001:2015 version. Kangxin Intellectual Property Agency Co., Ltd. is currently the first intellectual property agency in China to file and publicize "enterprise standards".

Kangxin has established a teaching practice base at the Foreign Languages Department of Beijing Institute of Petrochemical Technology; donated to the EMBA classroom at HKUST's Lee Shau Kee School of Business; established the "Kangxin Scholarship" at Dalian Maritime University and sponsored the establishment of the "Kangxin·Cloud Era" university student cloud computing innovation laboratory; established the "Kangxin Scholarship" at China University of Political Science and Law; and taught at the "University-Enterprise Docking" training program, which was attended by students from 15 universities in 10 provinces and regions across China, including South China University of Technology, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and Chongqing University of Technology.
