石狮赛特医院系原国家体委、成都运动创伤研究所、石狮宏泰集团由石狮市政府引领，于1996年联合创办，发展至今20余年历程。于2002年荣获中国医药企业管理联合会、中国医药质量监督委员会联合授予“全国明明白白治病放心医院”称号；于2016年荣获中国骨伤人才研究会、全国高等中医院校骨伤研究会、全国骨伤名师名医名院学术委员会联合授予“世纪骨伤名院”称号。
20年来，经过全院职工的不懈努力，医院实现了长足发展，已成为一家集医疗、急救、科研、康复、保健为一体的现代化大专科小综合模式医院。福建省交通事故伤员救治定点医院，泉州市职工工伤保险定点医疗机构，晋江市新农合定点医院等；

**新引进美国麦格科技公司研发的的非手术嵴柱减压系统（太空舱及外星仓）和瑞士进口冲击波疼痛治疗系统、射频消融治疗仪、德国卡特臭氧治疗仪、红外线热像仪，以及核飞利浦四维彩色超声诊断仪、DR数字X线摄像系统、全自动生化分析仪、全自动5分类血细胞分析仪等一批先进的诊疗设备。
