我校原是一所以初中为主的完全高中，根据梧州市教育规划，于2001年转制为住读性质的独立高中。转制以来，我校高考成绩从原来的末位排名上升到市区内的第三名，近四年来，一次获得梧州市高考成绩二等奖，三次一等奖。在社会上享有良好声誉。现有教职工114人，30个教学班，学生2019人，属全寄宿学校，校园面积46000平方米，校舍面积28994平方米。
