泰州市中医院始建于1958年12月，是南京中医药大学附属医院、国家中医药传承创新重点中医院、国家药物临床试验认定机构、国家中医住院医师(全科医师)规范化培训基地、江苏省互联网医院、泰州市首家工伤康复定点医院。目前已发展成为学科完善、人才集聚、中医药特色鲜明，集医疗、科研、教学、预防保健、康复养生为一体的三级甲等综合性中医院。医院现有济川路和邑庙街两个院区，总占地面积196亩，建筑面积约18万平方米，编制床位1500张，在职职工1515人。
