学校坐落于环境优美的袍江新区，主要从事中等职业技术学历教育、汽车驾驶培训、交通行业从业人员培训，是绍兴市*的一所集大专、中专、职高、实训为一体的交通类职业教育学校。办学二十余年业，成绩斐然，已为社会输送各类交通技术专业人才三万余人，在历次全省汽车驾驶与维修专业技术比武中获团体、个人一、二等奖。学校是绍兴地区*的汽车维修行业国家职业技能鉴定所，是国家紧缺型技能人才培养基地。骨干专业汽车运用与维修专业为省级示范专业，公路与桥梁专业为市级示范专业。
