Introduction to WoTeMa Group
Shenzhen WoTeMa Battery Co., Ltd., headquartered in Shenzhen, China, is one of the first enterprises in China to successfully develop power batteries for new energy vehicles and take the lead in achieving large-scale production and batch application. It is the chairman unit of the China WoTeMa New Energy Vehicle Industry Innovation Alliance, a national high-tech enterprise, and one of Shenzhen's top 100 industrial enterprises. In July 2016, it was listed through asset restructuring on the ChiNext (stock code: 300116).
The company is committed to becoming a leader in power systems for new energy vehicles, with over 1,500 R&D personnel. Its independently developed power batteries feature high safety, high power, strong environmental adaptability, and long cycle life, and are widely recognized by the market. As of September 2017, it held over 1,600 patents, including 525 invention patents and 8 international patents, with key technical indicators at the leading level. It has been successively recognized as a "National High-Tech Enterprise," a "Shenzhen High-Tech Enterprise," a supporting enterprise for the national "2012 New Energy Vehicle Industry Technology Innovation Project," and a "2014 National Torch Plan Key High-Tech Enterprise." In November 2015, it was selected among the first batch of enterprises in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's "Automotive Power Battery Industry Standard Conditions" catalog.
Currently, the company has established cooperation with leading domestic automobile manufacturers such as China FAW, Dongfeng Motor, Zhongtong Bus, Shanxi Dayun, Shanghai Shenlong, Xiamen King Long, and Sinotruk Howo. By the end of 2016, over 60,000 new energy vehicles equipped with WoTeMa power battery systems were operating in 31 provinces and cities across China, with products exported to more than 40 countries and regions across six continents, accumulating an average daily mileage of over 6 million kilometers. In December 2015, according to statistics from the China Automotive Technology Research Center, WoTeMa ranked second in domestic battery supporting volume. In December 2016, the company was listed among the global top 500 new energy enterprises in 2016. In January 2017, according to authoritative statistics from the China Industrial Association of Power Sources, WoTeMa ranked among the top three in China's power battery industry in 2016.
The company strictly implements the ISO9001 and automotive industry ISO/TS16949 quality management systems, the ISO14001:2004 environmental management system, and the OHSAS18001:2007 occupational health and safety management system. Its products have passed various tests and certifications from authoritative inspection institutions, including the Information Industry Chemical and Physical Power Supply Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Center (Tianjin 18th Research Institute), Beijing 201 Institute (863 Program Laboratory), the National Bus Quality Supervision and Inspection Center, and the National Car Quality Supervision and Inspection Center. The products comply with safety and environmental requirements such as CE, UL, UN38.3, and CB, and have passed relevant certifications and tests.
