我院全称为余姚市水利电力建筑勘测设计院，前身为浙江省编委会批准的“余姚县水利水电勘察设计室”成立于1963年，至1996年3月改为现名称。23001年8月经改制，由原来的全民事业性质，改为股份合作制企业。本院具有水利水电设计丙级、工程勘察乙级、水土保持工程设计丙级等专业资质（建筑资质已在审批），拥有各专业职称的技术人员三十余人。主要承担余姚市中小型水利水电工程勘测、设计工作，同时还承担了一大批地质勘察和工业民用建筑设计项目，坚持以“质量*，用户至上”的服务宗旨，保质保量地完成任务，并得到业主的一致好评。
