平原县*人民医院建于1947年，经过几代医院人的砥砺奋进、艰辛求索，发展成为一所集医疗、教学、预防、保健、康复于一体的二级甲等综合医院。是山东省千佛山医院集团医院，是济宁医学院医疗教学实践基地和在职研究生培训基地。医院占地面积6.24万平方米，建筑面积6.5万平方米；开放床位600张，设有临床、医技等科室55个；共有职工999人；其中正高级职称13人，副高级职称58人，心内科、重症医学科为市级重点学科，骨科被确定为市级重点培育学科。
