江阴机械制造有限公司前身是创建于1947年的安泰铁工厂，1992年获得自营出口权，1997年改制成为有限责任公司，是江苏省机械行业重点骨干企业。　　公司以国际市场为导向，通过不断强化管理、加大技改力度，调整产品结构，公司产品已形成以出口为主的汽车零件（主要是涡轮增压器零件）一块，以提高附加值、提高技术含量为主的老产品（梳棉机、弯管机）一块的格局。公司先后通过了ISO9001、QS-9000、ISO/TS 16949：2002质量体系认证。2006年7月，公司被国家商务部、发改委授予“国家汽车及零部件出口基地企业”称号。公司产品远销英国、美国、巴西、印度、罗马尼亚。
