普宁市博大职业培训学校成立于2003年，是经普宁市劳动和社会保障局批准设立、国家教育部计算机教育培训基地授权的全日制正规培训学校。2005年8月通过中国计算机函授学院评估，成立了“中国计算机函授学院普宁教学站”。同时，被授权为“国家教育部计算机教育培训基地普宁教学站”。2005年10月，被普宁市公安局定为“计算机安全员定点培训单位”；2006年以来，连续三年被普宁市劳动和社会保障局定为“百万农村青年技能培训工程”定点培训机构；2008年9月，曾被普宁市劳动和社会保障局定为“普宁市农村劳动力培训转移就业培训基地”。
