国核示范电站有限责任公司（简称国核示范）为中央企业国家电力投资集团有限公司所属二级单位，负责国家科技重大专项国和一号示范工程的投资、建设和运营管理。国和一号示范工程是《国家中长期科学和技术发展规划纲要（2006-2020年）》确定的16个重大科技专项之一，是在引进、消化、吸收世界第三代先进核电技术的基础上，通过再创新开发出的，具有独立自主知识产权、功率更大的非能动大型先进压水堆核电机组，机组单机功率超过150万千瓦，设计寿命60年，安全性、经济性和环境相容性达到三代核电的世界先进水平。
