丹阳市建设工程质量监督站创建于1985年10月,是受丹阳市建设行政主管部门委托的专职工程质量监督机构，单位性质为全民事业，现位于丹阳市石城路8号。我站于1989年创办了全省*家县级市工程质量检测中心，1993年创办了桩基工程测试研究所。从一个起始只有3个在编人员的新建单位，经过几任站领导和全体员工近二十年的艰苦奋斗，发展到今天拥有在编干部职工41人，各类专业技术人员38人，其中高级职称5人，中级职称21人，初级职称12人；本科学历17人，大专学历21人；现有党员共17人，其中女党员3人。
